May's Sweet Notes took another detour from the traditional cookie. This month's shipment included 1 dozen heart Double Layer Krispie Treats. These are definitely not your average rice krispie treat! The bottom layer is made of regular rice krispies, mixed with chocolate chips. Then, the next layer is a cocoa version of the krispie treat with white chocolate chips. This month's shipment included a mix of dark chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips and regular chocolate chip cookies. But that is not all. There were also half and half cookies mixed in, which are a single cookie made up of half dark chocolate and half regular chocolate chip cookies. February's Sweet Notes were a slight diversion from the traditional cookie. This month's shipment included 1 dozen heart shaped brownies, which were then dressed up with multi-colored frosting and white chocolate for the whimsical look of pastel conversation hearts. This is a white cake with raspberry filling and whipped cream cheese frosting. The accents are in white chocolate and raspberry syrup.

These mini cupcakes were made with coffee flavored devil's food cake, and then topped with 2 types of Kona coffee flavored frostings and chocolate covered espresso beans straight from Ghirardelli square in San Francisco.
These chocolate covered strawberries take decadence to a new level. They are dipped and swirled with white and 60% dark chocolate.
December's Sweet Notes included snowflake sugar cookies paired with white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. And as a unique addition to the recipe, they were baked with toasted macadamia nuts straight from Maui! For more information on signing up to receive a monthly shimpment, click here.
This is a butter chocolate wedding cake with a thick raspberry filling and chocolate fudge frosting. The bride's colors were royal blue and yellow, so I tied in fresh blueberries and yellow rose petals along with the fresh raspberries to decorate the cakes.

Imagine two layers of your favorite decadent brownie. Then add raspberries baked into the batter, a layer of white chocolate ganache and raspberry filling in the center. Then top it with rich dark chocolate ganache swirled with white chocolate, and as if that wasn't enough, top it all off with raspberry-chocolate decorations and you have a stunning and delicious ending to your meal!
